1979 Dodge Adventurer SE 1-Ton D300 Dually Pickup Truck in spectacular condition with a 1968 HP440 Magnum engine 727 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission and heavy-duty Dana 4.10 rearend. Previously owned by a Mopar collector; was used as both a show truck and also to pull his Mopar drag car to the track. Showing only 23243 miles this long bed Club Cab is in spectacular condition.The original 400 cubic inch 200 horsepower V8 engine was replaced with a seriously powerful engine; a 1968 HP440 Magnum from a 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T. The transmission was upgraded to a seriously tough transmission; a 1968 Torqueflite. Both were rebuilt prior to installation with the engine upgrades inlude 10:1 Keith Black pistons a Mopar Purpleshaft torque/midrange cam Holley 750cfm Dual-Feed carb Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake Mopar electronic ignition and factory HP exhaust manifolds connected to a large diameter free-flow exhaust. These engines are rated at 375 horsepower when stock and actually produce well over 400 but with the modifications this engine easily makes 450+ horsepower; reliably and on pump gas. Starts right up and settles into a lopey idle with a deep aggressive exhaust note and that great sounding cam. Runs perfectly pulls hard and there are no mechanical issues; no smoke no leaks no noises. The transmission shifts perfectly and the heavy-duty Dana 4.10 rearend is strong enough for heavy loads and serious towing. Accelerates strongly and cruises the highway like a man's truck should. Very powerful truck. Power steering and power disc brakes for safe easy driving and the comfortable Adventurer SE deluxe interior is in excellent condition. No marks on the seat no wear on the carpets no cracks in the dash. Ice cold air conditioning and the deluxe factory AM/FM stereo with factory CB radio built in.
