As pictured, beautiful 1962 Dodge Lancer 770 two door for sale. One owner gem with only 35k miles. Check out the photos on this car. It starts, idle, runs, drives and stops like 35k original mile car should. This car was meticulously maintained by the original purchaser. It drives so smoothly, you just can't believe it. All doors close like they should, windows roll up and down easily......even the emergency brake works effortlessly. Skeptical? Don't be, the current registration name matches the original purchase documentation included in the sale.
This Lancer does have the large 225 "leaning tower of power" slant 6 and even the rarer aluminum block version! It starts clean, no smoke idles true and is very peppy with the 3 speed manual transmission. The engine is stock. The only non-stock items on the car, are the addition of an oil pressure gauge (check out the strong pressure at idle in the video) and the push button heater controls have been by passed with a toggle switch. I also believe the car was repainted at some point in it's original beige enamel color. Original Lancer radio turns on, but sound is not clear. I think you will be hard pressed to find another Lancer/Dart/Valiant this close to an original driver.
The tires are excellent, glass is all excellent, interior is fantastic, dash is super clean.......I couldn't believe how well it drives. Of course cars over 10 years old are exempt from mileage disclosure in Wisconsin, but this car drives like a low mileage car. All lights work, it even has the original trunk mat. Includes the original set of keys, owner's manual and sales brochure.
I am required by Wisconsin law to be a registered dealer so you will need to complete all forms required by the state and pay for the car prior to arranging delivery. If you are a Wisconsin resident, you will need to pay all title fees and sales tax as well. Out of state buyers will receive the clear title. Out of state buyers will pay tax and fees required in your home state. If you are a Wisconsin resident, I'll send the title in for you as/if required by law. All buyers will pay a $195 dealer service fee in addition to the purchase price.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is due immediately at the conclusion of the auction. Balance is due no later than 7 calendar days after auction end. I accept wire transfer or cashier's check for the balance. No cash at pick up, car must be prepaid prior to arranging pick up or transport. Car needs to be picked up within 14 days of auction end or storage fees of $10 daily will commence on the 15th day. Car will be picked up in Dalton WI at a commercial location. This car comes with no warranty, express or implied. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. Once the auction is over, you own the car and are obligated to complete the transaction under the terms stated above.
