The Coronet was basically a redesigned B-Body Polara and was Dodge's most popular model for 1965, selling over 209,000 units. The Coronet 500 trim level was the top of the line model and included standard: a V8 engine, exterior trim and badges, bucket seats, padded dash, and a chrome outfitted floor console. Roughly 33,300 Coronet 500's were produced in 1965 and were available in either a 2 door hardtop or a convertible, as this car is.
