Description:

1970 Dodge Charger 500

This is a extremely solid 1970 Dodge Charger 500 project car with it's original matching dash vin, fender tag and trunk lip number. The original motor and transmission are long gone. I bought this car as an unfinished project from a retired body man who hauled the car back from Texas years ago. This Charger has a very solid body that came from the factory paintedwhitewithout undercoating. The center trunk pan looks like it has had a thin layer of fiberglass laid over the middle and the front floors appear to have some small patches but the rear floors are untouched. It looks like a decent enoughjob was done if a guy just wanted to toss in carpet and a trunk mat and cruise. The frame rails, torsion bar crossmember and trunk extensions are rock solid! The quarters still have the factory spot welds where they meet the trunk extensions! The undercarriage looks dynamite solid. The front clip is a 68/69 style with a rough 69 Charger grille. This car will need a complete restoration to be a show car but what a great start to a fun project! I do not have the title for the car but I will give you a bill of sale so you can get one, contact your DMV. If you have some skills and are looking for a solid Charger project to drop your engine in here is your chance. The slotted mags and tires are not included in the auction, I will install a set of rollers for transport. Feel free to ask questions. The car can sit here for a few weeks to get transport arranged as long as it is paid for. I can help withloading and lining up shipping anywhere in the states. The car rolls and steers easily and has key. No reserve.
