1930 Dodge Dual Windshield Phaeton

Before we begin telling you a little bit about the ownership of this 1930 Dodge DD Six Phaeton, we would like to mention that here at MissChiTown we work as a marketing arm for private sellers who want to have their collector cars beautifully displayed on eBay. With all of our experience we have never seen another 1930 Dodge Dual Windshields Phaeton in any condition. We are sure that there may be a few out there but as the expression goes, this car is as rare as hen’s teeth.

Now let us tell you about some of the good points of this car before going into detail about the actual condition.

Good Point One – this car has been owned by the same owner since 1961.He purchased the car out of one of the first Hemmings publications during that year.(Yes, do the math). He has owned the car for 55 years. This is not one of those cars that somebody has bought to spruce up to take good pictures but this is a car that has had loving care and full maintenance since it was purchased in 1961.

Good Point Two – now this car is painted in one of the most attractive color schemes that we can think of. Besides that it is a dual windshield and has the second windshield for the passengers in the rear seat.

Good Point Three – when you pick up this car it is ready to take you anywhere you want to go. The owner has kept it in great condition throughout his ownership of the car.

Good Point Four – and a really important point, the owner did equip this car with an overdrive unit. Yes, all you do is cruise along at 35-40 mph and hit the button and it goes into overdrive for high speed touring. Yes! Now you can tour with this car at 55 mph with ease. As you slow down, at a certain point the car will pull itself out of overdrive.

Good Point Five – fabulous color scheme and great interior! Check out the accessory wire wheels and front wind wings and take a look at the optional dual side mount spares and trunk rack and trunk. Full set of side curtains that are stored behind the rear seat. So many details to love about this car!

We guess you have figured out that we are very enthusiastic about this car being that it is so RARE, ATTRACTIVE and ONE OWNER FOR 55 YEARS!

The private seller has told us the following details and also please checkout the pictures below and the pictures in the video.

Genuine accessory wire wheels as shown in the sales brochure (seller has the brochure and parts book).

And this car has always brought the private seller home from numerous tours. This car was driven up to 2,400 miles on tours.

As we mentioned previously, the private seller is only selling this car is because he is looking down the gun sights of turning 100 years old in the not too distant future. He would love to find out that somebody who is purchasing the car will give it the same TLC that he has given it all these years.
