Description:

1969 Dodge Coronet 500

I have for sale my 69 Dodge Coronet 500 factory 383hp 4 spd convertible- only 68 total 4 spd convertibles made in 1969 with different engines in the 500 trim, and very rare. Body and paint along with top were done 18 years ago and have held up well. TX9 Black with black top- made by Electron with glass back window (not cheapo one), and black and gray trim custom interior . Power top and accessories work flawlessly. Grille and headlight bezels were meticulously stripped of paint and polished for contrast to the black paint
I started out with a 69 440-6pk motor and then built this drivetrain thereafter in '07. Now has a Muscle Motors 500" stroker kit, Tremec 5 spd tko 600, Dennys Driveshaft, and 3.54 dana 60 rear.
Car was done on a rotisserie and not one nook was left untouched- super clean underneath. All new rubber/seals/catwhiskers- body reinforced with subframe connectors and mini 4 point roll bar Targa style with custom stitched covers

I have owned this car going on 19 years- it took me a very long time to get the guy to sell it to me, and is a very rare machine. So what if it's not an R/T? I can guarantee you this would blow most of those trailer queen R/T's away on the road and gets constant compliments and attention everywhere it goes- you dont see these as they're ghosts and were a rare sight when new. The one comment i always get is- "i've never seen one of these before!" Most people would strip off all the trim and make a fake R/T but i realized early on the significance of this car and kept it the way the factory made it look, but better.....car is super tight and can take turns where most muscle cars could not. I have a lot of time and money invested in this car and my 70 Superbird clone project which i will be listing soon and I'm moving on - lots of parts for sale as well. Car has clear NY papers- call for more info and no low ballers 845742 O 5 7 1 Interior and other pics to come shortly .
