Original 1964 Dodge Dart GT 273 V8 4-speed manual shift coupe

in mostly all original condition.

HELLO all MOPAR FANS--Please read entire listing and see photos before calling or emailing me---thanks. Every now and then a car like this comes along. If you are into original super clean hi-po muscle cars (like me) you will appreciate this car.
This is a factory 1964 GT V8 4-speed Dart. I have all documentation FROM NEW including original sales invoice and original window sticker. Have every single item listed that was performed from new--day one, in a 3 ring binder that original owner made & kept religiously. All original brochures, owners manuals, & service manuals. The info is immense. All work, mileage, & costs were documented in this manual.
Car is sporting it's all original maroon/black paint, and as you can see it is very faded and oxidized with some thin spots & primer showing through. I did not add any chemicals or dressing to this paint as I wanted all prospective buyers to see the honesty of this mostly all original car. Hood is flat black due to heavy item falling on it in garage many years ago. Was never painted and is still in it's original black primer. This is an old stock OEM Chrysler replacement, and NOT a new Chinese reproduction. There are NO reproduction parts on this car.
All of the orig. factory stainless GT Dart trim & emblems are present and accounted for, and are included (couldn't show in photos but they are original and they are nice). All chrome/bumpers etc. are like new w/no pitting. See minor various dings in sheet metal. One tiny rust spot at left rear over wheel well, otherwise this car is AZ rust free. Like I said--I wanted next owner to see the incredible 'honesty' of this car.
Starts easy and really runs very well. Strong running V8 with 4-bbl set up. Sounds great w/dual Flowmaster exhaust; runs even better. No issues other than some play in the steering box (a new steering box is included). Has Edelbrock 4-bbl carb & intake. Highway gearing (3.00 ish?) so car will cruise at 80mph all day long on freeway. Runs cool. Manual steering and 4 wheel drum brakes. 14" vintage Cragars are in excellent cond., and newer radial tires have maybe 2000 miles on them. All gauges in dash are working. All lights working. Clutch is smooth and gearbox shifts excellent in/out of all gears.
I know that I sound like I'm gushing here, but you would never guess that the car's odo has flipped twice and actual paperwork documented mileage is 232,000. Still has all original superb condition interior including slightly faded carpet. A few small cracks in dash. Door panels, & headliner are excellent. No cracks in vinyl seats. SEE PHOTOS please. This really is a very nice car.
Too much paperwork and too many extras included to list here. Over $17,350 in receipts since day one. Last major service performed was a complete brake job in '03 (at 230,800 miles) at a cost of $897.00. Paperwork also documents a complete engine rebuild at 100K miles. Car currently runs extremely well and I see NO SMOKE at either start up or during run in, hot or cold. I've never seen, nor have I ever owned a car with so much documentation from new.Mopar Hemi Wedge Chrysler Plymouth GTX Road Runner Duster Cuda Barracuda Challenger 318 340 360 400 426 440 Fury Drag Satellite AAR Trans Am T/A Coyote Coronet Super Bee A/FX Altered
