1951 DeSoto Dodge
Up for auction is a real barn find 1951 Desoto sedan (barn is not included!). That's right, this car was stored away in a 110 barn by a gentleman farmer before passing onto greener pastures back around 2000 here in California. This sweet cruiser has less than 47k by the speedometer and most likely true cause the condition of the car is nice and the farmer had lots of other cars he was driving. Dash erea looks great and all the gauges and light work. Original interior is showing its age, but still has the classic look, probably more so if your looking for that's classic ratrod look. Body is in very nice condition and the only rust is surface rust on the exterior original paint and we even had it up on a hoist. Trunk erea is good and could use a little cleaning. Flat head engine runs great and the fluid drive transmission shifts smooth. Steers well and brakes good too, A quick and afordable father/son car project.. Though it runs and drives fine, it has been sitting for 20 years and will need to be trailered for safe transport until you have the time to check all the rubber and fluids.Have a clean title in hand and vin number has been verified. Will need a battery, but the I currently in it works well enough to get onto a trailer. Winning bidder has 24 hours to PayPal a non-refundable deposit and the remainder needs to be pains in 4 days via cash in person or direct deposit to my Wells Fargo bank. Vehicle will need to be picked up before end of July or storage fees will need to be payed. Winning bidder is responsible for all transportation and storage costs. Car is sold as is and all sales are final with no refunds given, so ask all questions before bidding. Thanks for viewing and good luck!!!
