BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
1973 Datsun 1200 Coupe ...survivor or sorts, knowing how
many have been crushed over the yrs.
Not sure why it was parked, It runs ! but not yet driveable.
I hooked up an E fuel pump to a small container of fuel under the hood, and cranked it and it came to life.
Took it for a little spin around the block too.
Ignition switch is finicky, and does weird stuff but after
several tries, I got it to crank, and it started with a
little help of pouring a little gas down the carb.
Once started, it idles at about 1300 rpms.
Its a cool old rwd Japanese 2 door coupe
Az has been great to the floors and body keeping it about
as rust free as you could hope for.
Az title in hand. Was in a minor accident about 15 yrs
ago, so at the time they didnt consider it worth fixing.
It wasnt that bad, so they fixed it and drove it another
10 yrs. Looks like the accident was right behind the dr
door. The paint on this car is horrible.
Needs alot of restoration, but not many of these are left
out there for sale. Aprox 152k miles on the car.
Check out the pics and more info below...thanks

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: the factory 1200 cc engine is very complete
under the hood and it spins over fine. Nothing looks to be missing
except for the fuel pump on the side of the block.
As mentioned above, the motor does run, Working on checking
the other stuff this week. I drove it around the block today. There
was some smoke coming out of the exhaust. It does need a fuel pump
and the tank cleaned out. Prob could use a carb kit too.
Starts much easier when I pour a little gas down the carb, but after
that I drove it around the blocking using a small gas can under the hood.
Brakes and trans feel fine.
I find out in our ad here at the bottom.

INTERIOR: take a peak at the pics below. Yep, Az sun and heat has done its toll onmost all the plastic and vinyl. Alot of it could prob be taken apart, restored and saved. But alot of need to be replaced too. Dont see much if anything missing, even the stock radio is still in place. The floors on the
inside have stayed nice and dry and are solid and rot free.

EXTERIOR:the body again not too bad of shape. There
are several dents all over the car and signs of repair on the
driver side. Bumpers are a little toasty, but really its all fixable.
Doors work great, and allthe glass looks to be intact and good, except for a crack in thefront windshield. It probably looks better in the pics.
Lost 1 hubcap the other day.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal and very originalfor its age. Nice and dry and rust free under there. No mods oranything there, just nice stock and original. Tires arerollers at best, not sure Id use them for
ever7day use. Front brakes are disc. No trunk key or spare tire. Heard some noise around the rear area when driving it today. Gonna check the
lug nuts on the rear wheel.

There you have it, probably The BEST represented Datsuns
ON EBAY !
Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you them
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what
surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car
they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy esp
long distance. Our auctions are very detailed.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
Email me for a quote for shipping.
