I strongly believe in giving as accurate of a picture in a vehicle as possible when selling.
Recently replaced:
New Weber Carburetor
New Fuel Pump
New Camshaft
New Lifters
New Alternator
Good Battery
New Coil
New soft fuel lines
New Starter
New Brake Light/Park Lightbulbs
Rear brake drum surfaces machined, new brake padsRegistered in Oregon (EXP. 2020)
High-quality Tires have less than 4,000 miles on them.
Always a head turner/Conversation starter
The Pickup bed was covered with a canopy up until 3 months ago so no major dents and minimal rust.
Wipers, Heater, and lights all work.
Needs attention:
Driver side fender was dented. The repair was started with body filler and painted but could use more work. The rest of the truck is in very straight shape for the truck's age.
Radio works but speakers work intermittently, the wiring is probably loose.
Brand new Weber carb was installed but could use a little adjustment. The truck runs so smooth and has absolutely no hesitation but once in a while, the engine runs a bit after turning the key off. (Fuel is probably adjusted a bit too rich.)
The fuel tank was drained, pulled, patched and treated for rust. Soft fuel lines were replaced but the tank has some residual interior rust. Truck runs great but the filter ($3.49 at O'reilly's Auto Parts) will need to be changed in the near future as a precaution.
Fuel gauge does not work as the sending unit wiring was not reconnected when the tank was reinstalled. (Two wires on top of fuel tank) I have used theodometer to keep track of fuel with no issue.
Interior is in fair condition. Shows normal use for its age.
Turn signal dash indicator needs a new bulb but turn signals work great, audible turn signal indicator works great.
Low miles, owned by my grandparents and never driven over 60mph. This vehicle was bought by my grandfather in 1979
