Description:

1978 Datsun B210 GX

CAR IS LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NC. CLEAR TITLE. 82,744 ORIGINAL MILES!!!!
You are bidding on one all original 1978 Datsun B210 GX with the highly sought after DOGLEG 5SPEED. These transmissions usually get gobbled up by the MG guys for at least $800-$1200. Car has Air Conditioning also.
Car is all original and appears to actually just have had a new valve-job done. Car runs and drives great, will need new tires for long distance travel. Carb needs some tuning for smoother idle, but runs 100% awesome otherwise. No leaks, no issues. The body does have some injuries and some light rust (SEE PHOTOS). The largest dent is on the driver front fender which could easily be pulled out by removing inner fender. Interior is in fairly good condition. The underside is RUST-FREE!!!! See photos of underside and of floors. New: Carpet, Battery, Rebuilt Carb, Gas Tank Professionally Cleaned and Lined, Fuel Filter, Clutch Master Cylinder, Plugs, Valve-Job. It really needs nothing but a new set of tires. All electrical working!!!! Only item not working is heater temperature selector is a little stiff and HVAC control has come loose. Heater fan works great and A/C will blow cold with a recharge. HERE ARE THE DETAILS:
PLEASE CLICK THE VIEW ALL BUTTON TO SEE TONS OF PHOTOS AND DRIVING VIDEO IN THE SLIDESHOW AT BOTTOM OF LISTING. THE SLIDESHOW DOES NOT SHOW UP ON A MOBILE DEVICE BUT THE VIEW ALL BUTTON IS THERE AND WILL DIRECT YOU TO TONS OF BIGGER AND BETTER PHOTOS.
Engine: Runs 100% awesome. Car is very quick. No leaks, smoking, etc. New valve job performed.
Transmission: Shifts great. Clutch feels awesome. No leaks. This transmission is the most highly sought after Datsun trans. It is the smooth-case Dogleg 5 Speed.
Chassis: Brakes work great. ZERO rust underneath, only slight surface rust.
Body: No wrecks!!!! Ever. There are a couple of dents and a few areas of rust. Please see photos as I have taken a ton, so that you can see condition of body. Rockers 100% solid. Only bad rust areas are in front of rear wheels down low. Floors are in amazing condition and still have original FACTORY inspection stickers on them! Paint is in OK condition. Stills shines up nicely. Not a perfect paint job, but original and still holding up it's luster. There is some staining on the hood. The hood has an indentation towards the middle of the rear which needs to be bent back out. Looks like someone may have sat on it. As long as you are careful opening hood, it's not an issue and will be rectified easily just by pushing indentation out from bottom side. I am in no way a body person, so I did not want to try and fix it.
Interior: Pretty decent condition for the age. Headliner good, has some staining that will easily come out with some bleach-water. Door panels great, most plastic panels in good shape. Seats need some love, but are functional and foam is still intact and supportive(see photos). Dash has cracks on top like all of these 210s. Dash faces are incredible and clean though(see photos).
Electrical: Everything works!!!! Only item not really electrical, is the selector switch for controlling the HVAC vent/def/floor has come loose. Should be an easy fix by just hooking it back up behind the console. The temperature selector is a little stiff, but does operate.
I have tried to make a very extensive listing. I am a 100% positive user for over 15 years. I expect the same level of professionalism from prospective buyers.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. I can of course be here to help load the car for transport.
This car could be driven home, but new tires would be in order for that to happen and realize that this is an old car.
OK, here is all the stuff I have to state for the brilliance of the world.
