1978 Datsun Z-Series

This car is beauty -- every classic car owner thinks that of theirs, right?
Purchased in SC in 2010, 3 owners (all paperwork present). Has been re-painted once in its life, in the original factory color, Copper. Butterscotch is the (original) color of the interior.
Items to note:1. Air Conditioning is working...but I cannot guarantee it works amazingly.2. Radio is a modern conversion -- one of 2 items on the car not original.3. Wheels are original from my time of purchase. Right front wheel is missing a small center hub cover (easily found on Ebay).4. Never Winter driven.5. Car was equipped after-market (before my purchase) with an oxygen-timing switch to control and adjust the oxygen-gas mix while running. It has been tuned to run without it and the control set to a semi-permeant position.6. Driver seat is torn on the seat portion (Back is fine). Photo can be sent.7. There are two small (1.5") spots of bubble (rust?) that can be found on the body. Otherwise body is rust free. Chrome is PERFECT. Rubber bumpers are PERFECT.8. There is a brand new (original) in the box replacement console that has yet to be installed. This replaces the worn looking and cracked (one spot) console in the car. Included. $350 cost.9. New shocks and struts and springs in 2010. Roughly 6,000 miles on them. Tires Very Good.10. Power antennae works. Car Cover, sun shield included. Matching 280Z car mats included. Car manuals (car and mechanic's) and articles included.
This car has won two car shows in MN for best pre-1990 Nissan...& I have only entered it in two.
This car could be driven anywhere in the US, at distance, without a thought in the world about reliability. It was faster than the Corvette in its year.
I paid $11,000 for this car in 2010. The reserve is set at $10,500. This isn't the kind of car that appreciates massively in value, but it does hold its value. Hence my pricing.
If you owe tax, that is your responsibility.

I added more photos today. The undercarriage was difficult to photograph. It was undercoated before my ownership, so the photos show nothing really. If someone wants more photos of anything I can do that.

The driver seat tear and the two bubble rust spots (behind right front wheel and under the hatchback lid base) are in the photos.

If anyone has a representative in Minneapolis who wants to look at it in person, feel free to email me to set that up.
