This car has been kept under cover since 1959 residing in the DESERT East of the mountains in Central Washington State. It was owned by the 16 year old son of the owner of the Chrysler Dealership. He crinkled the right front fender when he was 17 and parked it in the shed behind the barn and went to dads dealership and got a NEW 1959. This 58 sat in the shed till 1994 when I bought it. About as Rust FREE as you could hope for. I have kept under cover for 26 years. The car has Factory Undercoating that has helped to keep the car in Great Condition as to rust. All the Trim is present. Worst damage is the right front fender and corner of the bumper. I removed the carpet when I got it in 1994 to keep the rust away to find ONLY 1 bit of rust on the cover panel by the gas pedal. Starting with a Rust Bucket will be the biggest mistake you will make...This Car is as SOLID as you will find.
