1965 Chrysler New YorkerThe last great Chrysler! For your consideration is this outstanding example of a Gentleman's Hotrod. Although it took style cues from the 1961 Lincoln Continental it surpassed it in both style and quality. The unibody was tight, he torsion-bar suspension was less floaty than it's competitors, oth interior and trim quality would never again be this solid. It effortlessly glides behind the 340HP 413 CI V8 and best in class Torqueflight transmission. Replete with working power seats and elegant interior that is an homage to a bygone era. The car was bought last year after sitting in a barn for 30yrs!! Texas Car!
It has new :
- Master Cylinder
- Brake Booster
- Electric Fuel Pump
- Brake Shoes
- Cylinders in front
- Carburetor is rebuilt
- Gas Tank removed and cleaned
- It also recently received a Tune- Up
- Exhaust is new from front to back
- Original Bill of Sale included from June 9, 965!!
None of the photos have been altered! This car is in no way perfect, ut the pictures show what a gem it is. The paint job is an acceptable 10ft -er. There is a dent as shown by the passenger door. There are a few easily fixed rips in the seats. The back dash is losing its paint; again, asily remedied by painting. It needs a new lock for the glove compartment. Headliner is perfect. AC has not been checked but will be listed as non working. As you can see, he rear bumper will need some elbow grease to get it shiny!
It starts right up, ut know that it is a 50yr old car, o a thorough inspection and continual care is always recommended. These cars were built to last and could easily be a daily driver!
The car is fantastic! It drives like a dream. I've just got an itch for a 1957 Chevy, 964 Impala, r 1972 Chevelle as my next project and I need to make room otherwise I'd keep this beaut'. That is why the price was DRASTICALLY lowered to sell! Motivated seller! Trades Considered! It will not be relisted on Ebay after the end of this listing, nd will be auctioned off locally!
Car Sold AS IS WHERE IS with no warranty assumed or implied. Please ask all question before bidding! Car is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end early if sold. GOOD LUCK!
PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES- MOST OF THE QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED BY LOOKING. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET. GOOD LUCK!
