Description:

1962 Chrysler 300 Series 300H

1962 Chrysler 300H in Festival Red over Dark Gold Interior. Equipped with a 413ci 380hp Engine mated to a Push Button Automatic 727 Torque Flight Transmission. This genuine 300H is a four owner California car that was originally sold in Concord California and appears to have stayed in Northern California ever since. The 300H is an extremely rare car, with only 435 ever built and roughly 160 of those remaining today. Mileage on the car (92k) is believed to be original. A beautiful restoration was completed in 2012 where the body was completely stripped down to bare metal, and the owner notes that no evidence of any body repairs, rust, or damage was found. All stainless was polished, while the bumpers and other metal parts were re-chromed. The interior was completely restored with all of the correct materials from Gary Goers. The car was also gone through mechanically with rebuilding of the Brake system, Carbs, Power steering pump, Fuel pump, and Water pump. The engine block is believed to be a factory replacement 1962 max performance block. The Solid lifter heads, Manifolds, Dual carburetors, and Transmission are all believed to be original to the car. The 300H comes loaded with Power steering, Power drum brakes, Power windows, Power antenna, and Radio. The owner has installed a hidden CD player (under the passenger seat) and new speakers in the original speaker locations. The interior of the 300H is incredible and very unique, with a rear center console and 4 bucket seats, a front center console housing the tachometer, and a beautiful instrument cluster unlike that of any other car. This car is in beautiful condition inside and out and runs excellent. Awarded 'Best in Class' at the 2012 Ironstone Concours d'Elegance.
