Chassis, body and engine:

  • according to my mechanic, an old sprint car man, it is either a Stanton or Stewart Silver Crown chassis with downtubes and cage removed and capped
  • body is fiberglass, fuel cell is under the rear cowl (filler under flap near roll hoop)
  • has a short 6" detachable plexi windshield not shown in all pics as I was getting it replaced
  • interior has two seat cushions to choose from and is a little tight for me but I can drive it (I'm 6' and 250lbs with 32" inseam)
  • has Simpson race harness seat belts
  • engine is a 225 cubic inch Chrysler slant-6 (so it will probably never die!)
  • auto transmission is shifted from a lever on the left side and is a GM 2-speed power-glide
  • newer carb with Edelbrock air filter housing
  • electric fuel pump
  • beautiful slotted aluminum mags
  • power disc brakes in front, drums in rear
  • the gas and brake pedals are essentially movable panels / levers in the footwells (left foot braking)
  • Hoosier tires are in good shape overall - fronts are newer
  • has ignition key, start button, full Autometer gauges, hi/lo headlights, tail and brake lights, turn signals, horn etc
  • Hi-Lo beam switch, horn and turn signals controlled by a motorcycle switchgear set to the left side of cockpit
  • LED on dash reminds you if signals are on
  • removable steering wheel like any sprint car!
  • electric fan in nose cowl with fan on-indicator LED on dash
  • exhaust header is custom made and sounds wonderful

Overall cosmetic and mechanical condition:

  • paint is white with some "pearlescence" to it
  • chrome generally good, few spots from some cleaner or something
  • aluminum wheels nice with few spots, may just be hard water marks and may polish out
  • just been checked out by a hot rod mechanic set the carbs, changed the fluids and who test drove it....I have also driven it
  • engine starts easily and runs well, shifts, drives and brakes well, electrics and lighting all work
  • no "neutral starter switch" or emergency brake (be careful to start it in park)
  • cosmetic condition is excellent, garage kept for whole life
  • chassis / underbody very clean
  • running gear is solid and tight
  • needless to say, a real head-turner and always draws a crowd!
