Description:

1959 Chrysler New Yorker

Here we have a fine example of a true survivor. 1959 Chrysler New Yorker RAT ROD. Original motor (413) and push button transmission. Runs and drives beautiful, a real thumbs up rat rod with classic patina. This body has not seen a body shop, no bondo, has a few rust spots, which could easily be repaired.
Front and back seats and door panels were profesionally redone this year and is nice read vinyl. Still needs carpet and headliner to be complete. I do have the original wheels and hubcaps and will go with the car.
The push button transmission was rebuilt last year, but the front seal was not installed correctly so it has a small leak. Nothing major, but could be fixed. All original 413 motor runs great with no issues. Exhaust has a small leak so could need a bit of work. Has power windows, power swivel seats (really cool option and is a head turner at car shows), power stearing, power breaks. Fuel gauge isn't working.
Remember this is a 59 year old car and a true survivor. Needs a few odds and ends to make it complete, but all the major things are done. What I'm asking is a fair price considering all the improvements. The tires and wheels are new (200 miles on them) lowering blocks in the rear.
