Description:

1962 Chrysler Other

This car was originally a Hearse when it was new in 1962 and was later converted for Ambulance service. The body is 99% straight and complete with only a few areas of surface rust. The front passenger side door is sprung and will require a bit of straightening to work properly. The front and rear seat floorboards are solid. The Trunk Floor (See Picture) has been rusted through and will need to be replaced, ut should not be a dificult task. There is also a bit of rust on the rear door, ut it is solid and not rusted through. I love the Jetson's Space-Age style of the dash instrument panel. It has a push-button style transmission. Original A/C...I have no idea if it works. The windshield is cracked and the rear door glass is broken out. All other glass on the 4 doors and the rear side windows is good. All light lens are good. All the trim is there. The air cleaner is missing. Missing 1 wheel cover. Health and recent surgeries have sidelined me from being able to pursue my restoration hobby, nd have resulted inthe need to sell my cars and trucks "as is". As a result, can not personally vouch for the condition of the engine and drivetrain in that I have not been physically ableto try and start or drive it. However, he person I purchased the car from in 1998 did assure me that with a little bit of necessary work and maintenance, he engine will run strong and the transmission is good. The engine oil and transmission fluid look clear and normal and there are no indications of a problem. I have a Clear Wyoming title. I can store the car for a while if the buyer can not take immediate possession...Just let me know how much time you need and we will work it out. I have set a low starting price with No Reserve to ensure a sale.
