Visually the vehicle pulls you in what I really like about the cars looksare the real steel chrome bumpers worked in with chrome side moldings & grill parts. 2nd choice would be the long crisp squared tail lights & emblems that really fits the design. The hidden headlights work flawlessly. As for condition: theleather interior is NEAR PERFECT! Not a rip, or stain, driver seat shows some wear, even sports the original factory carpeted mats.Exterior: original paint with so few flaws ( chips that were brushed)the rest of they don't bear mentioning (its 25 years old after all & still looks THIS good!) The most surprising & telling of a garage kept vehicle is the flawless vinyl top, no spider webbing or cracking in the paint(case closed!) Even under the car is clean! Engine compartment is so clean you could eat off of it.
The only option that doesn't work is theoverhead console that displays your MPG, compass, etc. The cruise control works flawlessly, the engine has been constantly maintained & is in perfect order down to every single hose, relay, belt& vacuum line. The 3.8L V6 is strong, gas sipping, very reliable & smooth running with a muffler systemthatis so quiet that you wonder if the engine is running! The body has never seen an accident, has no strangeparts out of line/place. The paint is original & in 99% condition.The trunk pull down works as does the trunk pop button. Thespare tire/jackassembly is complete. Imperials were covered by Chrysler's market-leading "Crystal Key Owner Care Program" which included a 5-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and 7-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty. The car were built to last!
It has 14" steel wheels with wirehubcaps &a beautiful matching set of Michelin tires that hold air, & have plenty of tread. The radiator islike new& the car NEVER overheats. Other major options include fully electronic digital instrument cluster with information center &electronically controlled air suspension system. The oil/filters were recently changed on the engine and transmission with synthetic oils. In addition its the last of the Imperials with just over 7K produced& is only25 years old which qualifies for antique classic plates and LOW INSURANCE COSTS.
Other recent upgrades: new front struts /alignment, Mopar battery, OEM power antenna, and OEM radiator overflow canister.
