Nice Enough to Show
Here is one you never saw before, a 1928 Chrysler with a 1960's Jeep chassis. A real crowd pleaser and consistent winner. It has a look all its own;sassy and feisty. This is not your ever-present cookie cutter we are tired of seeing. It features a rich color combination, deep cocoa fenders with a camel colored body. Blue dot tail lights and a third stop light highlight the rear. Chrome faux window splits help show off the back. Deep color accents surround the entire car. The headlights and bumpers are nicely finished in black. The bumpers were built for this car. Every bend and turn add to its beauty. Not easy to build but worth it. Note also the handcrafted front visor. The light bar houses not just the headlights, but special turning lights. Too nice to label a rat rod but notice the carefully positioned 'rats' on the hood and rear, also the baby mouse on the dash. The nose thumper adds a final touch. This car gets constant attention where ever it is displayed. It is solid inside and out. It will soon celebrate its 90th birthday, yet it still has its original door seams. This is not a restored, do not touch me kind of car. It is a beautiful all around fun machine, nice enough to show automobile.
An interior people stand in line to view
The interior is nicely done with plenty of room for five people. The seats are comfortable with a bench in the rear and buckets up front. Up front, you will find a fun-filled digitaldash and a large working clock. There is even a heater for those cool nights. Notice the wrench window cranks adding to the whimsy of this amazing interior. The tilt steering wheel is wrapped in leather. A nice sounding old-time horn adds to the fun. I've had folks stand in line for just a peek inside. The headliner fits the car perfectly. It was professionally donewith nice wood accents. The are no blind spots, excellent all around visibility. The whole interior looks modern yet captures yesterday with every upholstery accent.
Impressive Performance

This car is powered by the fabulous Fireball-Dauntless V6 engine. First owned by Buick, sold to Kaiser-Jeep and then bought back by GM. The Buick V6 began its life in 1962. It was a90-degree iron block engine dubbed the Fireball. It was derived from the 215 Buick V8.It was a shortened V8, giving it an odd-fire design, the source of the characteristic and well-liked rumble. Headers and long glass mufflers add to the sound. The performance was and remainspretty impressive. Jeep renamed the engine the Dauntless V6. It was offered as an option to the four-cylinder engine. It was used from 1966 - 1971. These were good years for Jeep, mainly because of the Dauntless V6. The power was ample offering a broad torque and horsepower curve. You will really like the quiet rumble at idle and the rap when you accelerate rapidly. A real pleasure to hear.
The real pleasure of owning a specialty automobile is, first of all, owning it, cleaning it tinkering with it, looking at it in the garage knowing not everybody can do this. This car is a lot of fun. I have the title in hand ready for transfer. This is a one only, extra fun car. I have owned it for several years and am now ready to let it go to someone new.
