1984 Chrysler LeBaron Marc Cross convertible

Lovely mid-80s K car classic for sale. It is the then-top-of-the-line Marc Cross leather interior designer edition of the LeBaron. It has a 2.2 liter fuel injected turbo engine. It has AC, which works fine.
Nada.com prices this car at $2700-plus if "average," which I think is a fair category for it.
It is a fun car with some pep and very tight handling for its era. It features the (in)famous talking voice that tells you things like, "All systems are functioning" or "A door is ajar" or "Your washer fluid is low" and so on. Its style and looks are a matter of taste, but it is certainly striking in its way. The top and windows work perfectly, which is important for an old convertible. Though the top is in very good condition, it does have a couple of the common small (three to four inch) tears where the frame pinched the top during closing. I treat the tears with silicone caulk.
I've owned the car for almost four years. I am the third owner. The second owner rescued it from the original owner's garage, where it had sat for 12 years. The second owner gave up on restoring it after less than a year. I have largely restored the car since I've owned it, though it is far from perfect. The car only has 46k plus miles, of which probably only about three thousand were mine.
I am not/not a professional mechanic or car flipper, but I keep a few old cars on hand for fun and because I enjoy working on cars. My sale price represents a significant loss, given what I've spent on the car.
I am selling the car because I did all I want to the car in terms of restoration and have way too many other old cars-- five, including one I just bought. My sons drive it fairly often, but neither of them is interested in acquiring it; they want something newer.
Almost everything works, and the car is driven fairly frequently now that I have made it relatively dependable.
The list of what I have done to the car is long, but I will share it with anyone interested. You will note from the pictures that that list includes a paint job (Maaco, but true original color) and new wheels and tires. Also new since I've owned it: muffler, head gasket, timing belt, front brakes, radiator, front struts, lots of bulbs and switches and relays, alternator, trim pieces, window motor.
As I said, the car is not perfect. I will answer any questions about it honestly. It has only one dent-- a recent one-- in the drivers side quarter panel (see picture) which was clearly from someone backing into it where I park it and declining to leave contact info. It does have a number of other problems which did not prevent me from using it for recreational reasons. It has antique plates, so it is exempt from annual state inspection where I live. I know of two or three problems that would probably need to be fixed to pass most state inspections, but this car is not really a candidate to be a daily driver. My sons have driven it to work or school now and then, and we've taken it on trips within a radius of twenty-five miles or so, but I wouldn't get it in it and drive to California as is.
A number of new parts I didn't use come with the car. They include rear brakes (I didn't do them since the car stopped great after I replaced the front brakes), electrical switches and sensors and relays I did not end up using, tune up parts (I ended up not driving the car enough to need to do it more than once), a starter, a new window motor, and a still-decent car cover. I also have the two-phone-book-sized shop manuals for the car, and they are included.
I'm not crazy about selling my LeBaron, as it's grown on me, but I'd be crazy to keep it, given my other vehicular obligations right now.
