1954 Chrysler Other Deluxe

Up for auction is this very nice 'survivor', '54 Chrysler Windsor. This car still sports its original paint. With the original paint you know there is no patch work or bondo. This car spent 90% of its life in Arizona and has not seen salt or winter elements. The underside of the car is solid with 'zero' rust through. All rocker perches are still there & in fine shape. This has been our Friday night out for supper cruiser for the past 6 wks with no issues going 50-75 miles round trip. It is a very dependable car I don't ever worry about an incident or breaking down. The car has the original flathead six engine that purrs like a kitten, starts right up, accelerates nicely, idles smoothly and cool. When idling you can barely hear it running. The transmission is a hydra-matic fluid drive that operates perfectly. The car has power steering and steers with the greatest of ease. The doors all open & close nice with no sagging and nice chrome door handles that operate like new. All locks work. The glass is all good with no cracks, chips or separation. The windows roll up and down effortlessly. The car is heavily laden with nice shiny chrome, along with the bird hood ornament that is in good shape with no pitting. It really sets off the front end! It has nice big, heavy chrome bumpers & guards. The underside of the doors do not have any rust. The door jams are nice & clean. The floor pans and trunk area are 100% solid with absolutely no rust. Electrically the car is good The headlights(high & low), dash lights, 2 blower fans(one for defrost and 1 for the floor) horn, blinkers, tail & brake lights, parking lights & reverse lights are all in working order. The wipers are electric & work good on high & low. The dome light even works. The radio was working but quit. Maybe a loose connection somewhere. The car has new radial tires, rides and handles excellent. This car goes straight down the road with no wandering or pulling. The brakes have been gone through and stop the car real good. The exhaust is in nice shape & very quiet. The interior has the original headliner with no holes or tears or rodent damage. The seats and door panels have been redone in the period correct fabric. The original carpet is faded in areas, but respectable. The dash, gauges and steering wheel all look really nice.(see pics) The car even has a windshield washer reservoir with a push button on the floor by the lower steering column to pump fluid. The trunk of the car has many new and used extra parts including power steering unit, steering sector, rebuilt generator, lens, bushing bearing, new fuel pump, new water pump, complete set of engine gaskets, filter and etc etc.. I would say at least $500 worth of extra parts for trouble shooting. To all the buyers across the pond who are looking for a nice American antique car, I realize it is a leap of faith buying sight unseen from the USA, however, rest assured that this one is a dandy. Very dependable, handles wonderful, very tight and smooth, runs and stops great. I am very confident you'll love this beauty. It does have an 8 to 10 inch crack in the top of the dash and it does have a small dent on the passenger side rear door on the chrome, however there is a new stainless piece in the trunk to replace.(see pics) and there is a tear in the top of the dash on the passenger side.
