1972 Chevrolet El Camino

This is a 1972 El Camino with only 25 MILESon it. My family bought this car off of a family friend who was able to pass down the story of this car. The story behind this car is a long one, o I will shorten it down to the important material. This car was originally in a flood when it was at the dealer's place in 1972, owever the car was not fully submerged. It was then purchased with intentions of rebuilding it. After our family friend had acquired it, ur friend put it back together and primed the majority of the vehicle. Unfortunately he passed away before he could finish the project. So we bought the car believing that we could fix it up and eventually drive it and potentially make it a show car, ecause how often do you see a car that is almost 44 years old and has NEVER seen the road. When we pulled the El Camino out of the garage, hat was the first time it has been outside in over a 3 decades!!! After owning this truck for several years, e decided that it is time that we tried to sell it. We put a little bit of work into this car, ut my family just could not find the time to properly restore this. This car is an blank canvas that will turn into a wonderful art piece when completed. The vinyl top is in mint condition, owever by the pictures you can see that there are touch ups that need to be done. The previous owner sanded and primed most of the car, ith the exception of the doors and hood (which are its original color). The interior needs to be restored and as well as some other touch ups for it. The car does start up and run. We really don't want to sell this, ut at the same time, e can't see the truck just sit in our garage for another couple of years. We would very much like to see the true potential of this car come out.
