1969 chevy chevelle ss. i bought this car from the original owners widow about 3 or 4 years ago i let my cousin talk me out of it last year and i had to have it back so i bought it back. then i got the oportunity to buy my first car back which was also a 69 ss and i bought it .and now i just dont need this one but dont have to sell just thought if it done well enough i would let it go. they are so hard to find all original. the car runs and drives great only fault is it has a small exhaust leak sounds like donut but aint bad and the speedo makes a noise sounds like a dry cable. still has original 2 piece front rotors 396 400 auto 12 bolt posi. interior is driver quality but if doing restore i would replace. floor pans look perfect with the original under coating intact. under the rear seat i can see a small patchable hole on each side . trunk pan is pretty solid with a couple of patchable spots shown in pics.exterior is not to bad paint is faded and cracked hood is solid fenders are rusted on lower rears doors have spots at the corners quarters have spots above wheel wells and in lower rears trunk lid rusty on inside top is nice around windows are nice except on the rear lower corners but dont look too bad frame looks great.glass looks good for its age except windshield has a wiper mark.im probably making it sound worse than what it is but i dont want to hide anything this is a great car that i drive from time to time and is a great car to restore or just drive with patina.i dont have access to a lift so i couldnt see where the serial numbers on the drive train but i could see tags on trans 374 c cc-69-10541 and rearend cd0110b 3859038nf L268 and motor T1230JK serial on motor is stamped on 69 in the rough above the oil filter and i just cant get in there to see it good.all the numbers i did find match the protecto plate. it reads 136379K385737 T1230JK 69c374 CD0110B cowl tag reads ST69 TR755 13637 KAN 214138 pnt 65 65 01c 01816 L . i have a good title in hand and also have a copy of the original and have the original dealer inspection paper and protecto plate and owners manual and paper where they had borrowed the money to buy it bank note along with some other odd papers from over the years. didnt tear apart to look for build sheet.feel free to come and inspect before bidding if you are looking for a restored car this is not it but if your looking for a survivor that can be driven or restored this is it look at pictures and be your own judge. sold as is with no warranties written or implied. i reserve the right to end auction early due to for sale localy. do not bid unless u intend to pay THIS IS A CASH IN HAND SALE ONLY.
