1954 Chevrolet Two Door Post We purchased the car in September 2014 from a hot rodder in Glasgow. MT. Car had a GM crate 350 and turbo 350 trans in it. We transformed it from that point to where it is now. ExteriorVery clean and straight body. no rust. floor boards have been patched. Car is painted black primer. all chrome trim is there. All glass intact. BrakesNew under-floor power brake set up. Mid 70’s GM front disc conversion. Rebuilt 10 bolt rear drums. all new brake lines. SuspensionJamco 3” drop front coil springs. Rear is original 1 ¾” leaf springs with 3” lowering blocks. All new gas shocks on all four corners. 15” radial tires. all for corners. tread is in excellent condition. New sway bar end link kit. Rebuilt kingpins. 15” uni-lug wheels. DrivelineFreshly built 1969 350 . 030” over bore. new Speed Pro pistons. and sealed power rings. Re-conditioned connecting rods with ARP bolts. freshly polished crankshaft. fully digitally balanced rotating assembly. Clevite bearings. new Speed Pro lifters. Elgin 350 hp Camshaft. Refreshed aluminum heads with fresh valve job. polished aluminum intake. Edelbrock 600cfm carb with electric choke. Transmission is a fresh 700R4 with new street stall torque converter. Custom built driveshaft. Schwanke Engines custom power rack and pinion steering conversion installed and works excellent. 1970’s Camaro 10 bolt rear end with 3. 08 gears. InteriorInterior has been retro fitted with 1959 Chevrolet Impala black leather interior. Front and rear seats are in great shape. New carpet. new headliner. re-covered door panels. All the factory gauges are working and accurate. New chrome. tilt steering column with Impala replica 14” leather wrapped steering wheel. Car has a nice stance. rides very well. It has plenty of power and cruises at a nice 2000rpm down the hwy. Ready to have a new driver to go across country.
