The Bel Air has been in the family (one way or another) since it was new. The car was built in Atlanta and sold new in Fort Myers. We’ve owned the car since 1985.

Specs: 327 (.60 over) with 1.94 double-hump heads, ompetition cam; MSD distributor; S&S headers; 2.5-inch exhaust with Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers; TH 350 with B&M Quicksilver shifter; power disc brakes; 605 power steering; ididit chrome tilt column; Holley 650 double pumper on chrome Edlebrock intake; Griffin aluminum radiator; AC; billet serpentine belt system from Concept One; Factory Fit wiring; aftermarket dash insert by Classic Instruments; Lokar throttle cable and billet pedals; stereo CD with front and rear speakers; LED blue-dot taillights; halogen headlamps.

Paint: PPG single-stage Deltron – Indian turquoise and Wimbledon white.

Wheels/Tires: Polished and painted mid-1980s Z-28 wheels; BF Goodrich Radial TAs.

Odds and Ends: The car has won awards from California to Florida, ncluding a class award at the Grand National Roadster Show, arious Goodguys shows, uper Chevy Shows and two Silver Certificates from Classic Chevy International. The car has also been featured in Hot Rod Magazine, ll Chevy Magazine, uper Chevy Magazine and Classic Chevy World.
