In this auction offered to you by Rusty Nuts Originals of Greenville yes that's the same one you just saw on Animal Planets "Flipping Ships" building a rat rod boat.Here is another one of our specialties. a 1961 Chevrolet Apache pick up on air ride. With a modest reserve. This truck began as a super nice. semi original. super solid truck. an actual barn find fresh off the farm. The truck sports an old brush paint job done at some point in its past and has a lot of natural patina and earned character. This was a very solid truck from the get go. with very few dents and very little rust. Its still running the original wheels and center caps sporting the old brush paint job wrapped in brand new radial white stripe tires. Everything interior wise is all stock and functioning with the addition of the Kenwood stereo and aftermarket gauges inside the stock cluster. New gas tank and sender. all of the glass is great in the truck and has a light tint. Now on to the fun stuff. TH350 automatic trans with Z Gate shifter. 74 Police. high nickel 010 block. 4 bolt main 350 with 60cc 305 heads (very high compression ratio provides tons of tire burning torque). durashine Pro Comp intake. Edlebrock carb. aluminum finned valve covers.ceramicheaders. billet pulleys. chrome 100 amp alternator. CPP 2. 5" drop spindles and power disc brakes up front have been added. Rotors have been remachined to keep the stock wheels. The front clip underneath the truck is the stock "unbuildable" set up but has been modified. The torsion bars have been removed and lower controls arms were plated on the bottom side with 3/8" plate to form "cups". Works great. super simple. indestructible. In the rear. an 8" step notch and tower has been added to the rails and comp engineering panhard has also been added. new shocks using stock mounts. All new brake lines. front to rear. CPP 4 degree blocks. two more inches and 4 degrees of pinion correction so it can safely and correctly drive as low as you'd like. Inside the bed. 1" tube frame. marine grade sub floor and Trex deck boarding tops it off. super solid. will last forever. Folding door to access twin Viair chrome pumps and polished stainless tank just in front of tailgate. This truck was built to the last detail and built to drive. no show queen here.
