1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Here we have a stunning 1950 Chevrolet 3100 series pick up that has been built into one amazing street rod. The build began with a solid steel body that was removed from it's original chassis where it was prepped for paint. The chassis itself was stripped of it's original suspension and a new Mustang II IFS from Chassis Engineering Inc. was installed up front along with new motor mounts cross member front and rear sway bars and Chassis Engineering rear suspension with leaf springs. The truck is now equipped with power rack and pinion steering and power disc brakes along with all the new suspension which gives it a more comfortable ride and better handling characteristics. The drive train of choice was the ever dependable chevy 350 V8. So a new crate 350 was dropped in and topped with an aluminum intake and edelbrock carb heat coated headers chrome pulleys and much more. The transmission is a new turbo 350 automatic from Gear Star and a 9" Ford rear axle from John's Industries Inc. The body is arrow straight with an excellent fit and finish the doors open and close the best I've ever seen on any 3100 pick up. The medium blue pearl paint looks incredible with a high gloss finish and all chrome and stainless have been replaced with new along with all glass and weather stripping. The custom interior is just as breathtaking as the outside of the truck with ox blood leather Omega Kustom gauges Vintage A/C and heat CD player and tilt column with custom wood wheel. The truck has also been outfitted with electric wipers. Ron Francis provided the wiring harness and 17" wheels are by American Racing. This amazing truck has just over 800 miles on it since completion and is turn key ready. The truck is super tight and sound on the road with no shakes or rattles has a very smooth ride. This is a super nice truck through and through and the new owner will need to do nothing but enjoy it........
