Street Machines is proud to present this show quality nut & bolt restored 1950 Chevrolet 3100 series 3-window pickup truck. This truck has logged just over 800 miles on a complete cosmetic and mechanical restoration. Many tens of thousands have been invested in the restoration of this truck. The exterior is finished in custom base/clearcoat gold & black over the straight all-steel body. fenders. cab & running boards. The bed is polished wood with stainless stripes. The interior has been restored with factory correct components throughout. Under the hood is an updated 235 cubic inch carbureted inline-6 paired with the 4-speed manual transmission. The gauges were reconditioned/replaced and the factory steering wheel was retained/restored. The steering box has been done and feels great. The flooring displays the correct rubber mat. The foot start pedal is intact and functional as well. Note the absence of vent wing windows. a full side glass makes for a clean look on the 1950 Chevrolet 3-window truck. The bed is in beautiful condition. inside and out. The wood and stainless strips were installed during the extensive restoration (820 miles logged). The engine compartment displays this recent 235 cubic inch inline-6. The engine runs strong and is paired with the factory 4-speed floor-shifted manual transmission. The firewall and inner fenders are excellent as is the core support. The radiator was replaced along with hoses. clamps. etc. This is a well-done restoration. The hood underside is beautifully painted and detailed to match the top. in gold. The undercarriage displays further detail. The frame is in excellent condition. The exhaust system was replaced as were the shocks. The engine and transmission undersides are clean and show well as does the flooring and cab corners. The door undersides retain their weep / drip holes. left and right. The inner fenders are excellent. displaying replaced hardware throughout. clean and painted.
