1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Up for bid is my 1957 Chevy model 210 with Bel Air side trim inserts. Previous owner owned the car for many years. (He got divorced and the car sat outside for 5 years.) Since I purchased this car it was driven almost every day with out any issues... runs and drives well and stops well also. Since the car sat for a few years I had every intention to give it a good once over but my schedule never allowed that to happen. The V8 is said to be a rebuilt 400 cubic inch bored 30 over. Mileage is unknown due to speedometer does not work. I have NOT run block numbers due to the engine being too close to the firewall and I can not physically see the numbers. The Muncie 4 speed has the numbers 3925660 on the side case. I started to research the numbers but I have NOT pinpointed if it is an M20 M21 or M22. This car does have the stock rear. In my opinion it does shift effortlessly and it has a Hurst shifter. The clutch works well and grabs rubber in all 4 gears. Interior is OK ... headliner is intact bucket seats are out of an early Chevelle (as per the previous owner) it does not have door panels no cracks in glass some light clouding along the bottom of the windshield and small chip in passenger side windshield. The floors have been patched over the years along with inner rockers trunk floor is near perfect along with spare tire well. Upper shock mounts and rear roll pan are also near perfect. Overall body appears to be straight however the 1980's Lacquer paint job is cracked all over the car. The driver side fenders seems to have reacted the worst but seems to get more attention this way as apposed to having a fancy paint job!. Please look at the pictures closely. Overall chrome is decent for driver quality. Has an exhaust leak from the right side header and it does not have a wiper motor. Wheels are chrome smoothies with center caps removed but are included in the sale along with new glove box and a few other misc. trim pieces and manuals. I never received an ignition key however anyone familiar with these ignition knows that a key is not needed unless it is placed in the locked position. Please ask any and ALL questions... I will answers to the best of my ability. Car is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Anyone is more than welcome to come and see the car... zip code is 19609. This description is based off of an average car guy who is not a certified body paint engine expert. This is a good car for a fair price bid with confidence.
