BODYWORK/TRIM

Completing an intricate transformation from solid Detroit steel into a lean, ean Chevrolet dream machine, his spectacular F1 displays great metalwork! The car's ground-up restoration started with an original Camaro body that, hanks to modified quarters, its four inches wider in the rear. Once those hips were thoroughly aligned, t was time to bolt up an exaggerated Stinger Hood. When that hand-fabricated bonnet was close to perfect, ASF Burgundy base was highlighted with a Charcoal stripe and sealed under Glasurit clear that, hanks to thorough sanding and tedious buffing, erfectly highlights classic American lines. And the end result is one seriously lethal showpiece that has major street presence and fantastic curb appeal!

Zoom in on the details and this custom continues to impress. At the front of its body, billet Rally Sport grille floats between a shaved header, smoothed and painted bumper, moked parking lamps and a color-keyed D80 chin spoiler. At the sides of that grille, monochromatic profile complements painted mirrors with what appear to be Ringbrothers door handles. At the top of that profile, ike-new glass sits behind Charcoal frames, urgundy drip rails and mirrored windshield wipers. And at the back of the car, illed body seams lead the eye to a notched spoiler, billet fuel filler, illet LED taillights and a second smoothed and painted bumper.

ENGINE

This impressive coupe is powered by six liters of General Motors small block that mixes road-ready reliability with a high performance Texas Speed & Performance camshaft. Built to tear up the street and wow show goers alike, hat fully sorted mill employs a sturdy iron casting, lectronic fuel injection and coil-near-plug ignition to create sharp throttle response and immediate torque. At the top of the block, Charcoal intake cover joins reverse, urgundy-over-Charcoal coil covers to dress things up a bit. At the front of the block, factory serpentine system spins modern power steering between a fresh alternator and modern AC compressor. A factory throttle backs with twin remote filter elements and glossy, -shaped air tubes. There's a slick pair of Doug's ceramic-coated long-tube headers, hich make quick work of charred dinosaurs. Up front, beefy aluminum radiator secures two electric puller fans under a sculpted, olor-keyed support. And finer details include: a Wilwood master cylinder, ddie Motorsports hinges, billet latch, nd a smoothed and painted hood.

DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION

Take a gander under this wicked F-Body and you'll find a fully detailed chassis that mixes new age technology with old school durability. Fully finished floorpans wear a clean coat of Burgundy 2-stage, nd are every bit as nice as the car's first-rate exterior. At the center of those floors, tough Tremec 6-speed makes good use of a Ford 9-inch axle. Stops are a cinch thanks to Burgundy Wilwood calipers and four drilled and slotted rotors. Exhaust exits through large-diameter pipes, hich swirl spent gases through polished Magnaflow mufflers. At the front of the car, ubular Speedtech control arms and Speedtech Chicane coil-overs frame power rack-and-pinion steering. At the back of the car, rigid torque arm set-up benefits from two more Speedtech control arms and two more Speedtech Chicane coil-overs. Torque melts the pavement thanks to Forgeline Grip Equipped Schisms, hich spin 245/40R18 Nitto Invos in front of 345/30ZR19 Nitto Invos. And every piece of this Chevy, rom its painted Holley oil pan to its painted stainless fuel tank, s solid and ready to roll.

INTERIOR

Aim the remote at the car's solid-closing doors and you'll unlock a custom Katzkin interior that wraps a quartet of French-stitched buckets in a nice blend of classic flash and modern flair. At the front of the car, thoughtfully modified dash hangs Auto Meter Phantom telemetry next to a Nissan 350Z center stack that's finished with Vintage Air climate control and Kenwood touchscreen audio. That center stack flows into a familiar 350Z console, hich balances a chrome shifter behind switches for four power windows. Below that console, lue-lit carpet glows under old school Fisher sills and nouveau metal foot pedals. At the sides of that carpet, imple door panels twist matte handles in front of cleverly integrated armrests. Above those doors, tight headliner frames a beefy roll bar. The driver communicates through a thick, olor-keyed steering wheel. And the passengers store cargo in a custom-upholstered trunk that features a clean combination of carpet, eather and billet aluminum.
