1986 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Silverado
This truck was bought new by an old man in South Carolina and was one owner till he died and left it to his grandson. Grandson put new crate motor with performance cam, eaders and edelbrock intake and new radio and lost interest and traded it for a 61 Ford wagon. Fortunately, e didnt have it long enough to hurt it. It has a very nice fresh paint job on what was a nearly perfect body to start with. The only imperfections before it was painted were a slight ding over the tailgate handle and holes drilled over the windshield where the old man had installed a visor at some point. The bed was so nice inside it didnt require ANY body work and neither did the rest of the truck. No rust repairs were done and it was always garaged. I was told the only thing it ever hauled was groceries. Original seat had one rip so I had the front seat recovered in correct fabric and fresh carpet installed. Door panels are original. It has a great sound to it and runs and drives beautifully and feels, teers, tops, ruises and looks like a 30,000 mile truck as the odometer shows but it could be 130,000 based on the age. I cant decide which I think it is but it was so dang nice and straight I bought it for my son. The heat and AC do not work at all at the time I am listing this and I will look into that. I hope it is a fuse, hen flipped on, othing at all happens. The radio, ack and spare tire are missing and one of the Silverado emblems is too. (lost by body shop) Power windows, ights and everything else works as it should. Other than the motor parts mentioned, ires, attery and the hood insulation blanket, his truck has no aftermarket parts at all and is all original including all trim, rille, ash, heetmetal, umpers and everything else. If you can find any rust at all on this truck I will give you the truck free of charge! I bought this for my son who decided while we were working on it that he really wanted a 4WD so we got him something else. Check my feedback, o BS here. It is listed locally on Craigslist too. Please come see it in person if possible and bring your money because you will want it once you see it. It is 60 miles east of Atlanta. Please email me for more photos with your real email address.
