1967 Chevrolet Camaro Restomod Pro Touring

A classic 1967 Chevrolet Camaro upgraded with all the right pro touring hardware is already quite tempting. After all, this custom has a performance suspension, paddle-shifted reinforced overdrive transmission, and 420+ horsepower fuel-injected V8. But as you dig into the detail work of this loaded and fantastically dark build, you'll realize it's made for comfort, speed, and all-out awesomeness.
The look of an all-black car will always be sinister. But this one goes beyond intimidation with its elevated sense of style thanks to a special edition of black paint by House of Kolor. Even before the first drop of black when down, you can tell they spent plenty of time, money, and effort making sure that panels love to let the sunlight roll evenly across the body. And speaking of sunshine, this one looks like it's out to consume all the light around it with the full blackout package. Powder coated bumpers, door handles, and window trim really take this one over to the dark side. And those 18-inch RushForth wheels add to the full black package while also showcasing the extra wide back tires and mini-tubbed rear. This mean-as-midnight look continues with classic Camaro performance pieces like the deep chin spoiler, cowl hood, full-width rear spoiler, and matte black racing stripe. In fact, one of the only bright spots you'll find are the crystal-clear HID headlights with LED halos. It gives this hungry street machine the look of glowing eyes both day and night.
The black interior is deep, dark, and quite fresh. This was a professional installation by Romans Upholstery that adds serious comfort to this classic car. It starts with leather seats with suede inserts. And the front buckets have terrific bolstering for all-day comfort. There are great modern upgrades, like cold-blowing R134a air conditioning and an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo with JL Audio speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer. You also have the best driver-oriented upgrades with a custom cup holder center console, Momo steering wheel, Ididt steering column, and AutoMeter backlit gauges with Twist Machine billet bezels.
The engine bay continues this coupe's very clean, mean, and dark theme. It has a show-worthy tidiness that also shows you beefy components, like the black fabricated valve covers and steel braided lines. This dark heart is a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 built by Borello Racing Engines. They enhanced and fortified the motor with a full roller setup, 9.5:1 compression, Eagle forged rotating assembly. It inhales deeply with an electronic fuel injection system feeding an Edelbrock intake. And long tube headers help it exhale with added power and authority from the X-pipe dual exhaust. It even has all the right supporting components: everything from the Optima red top battery mounted in the trunk, to Entropy four-core aluminum radiator with Spal fans. The full power package is said to be dynoed at 423 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. That's a ton of muscle. So the 4L65E four-speed automatic transmission was built by Phoenix Transmission to take up to 800 hp, and you get full control over it thanks to steering wheel paddle shifters. As you look underneath the car, you see more upgrades that prove this one was built to handle its power. This includes a Chassisworks gStreet pro touring front subframe, a rear Chassisworks gLink four-link unit, and adjustable Varishocks all around. You also have a strengthened chassis, rack & pinion power steering, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes.
A true Pro Touring car is built to eat the streets and keep you comfortable while doing it. And so now you know this one surpasses you wildest dreams. It's a vintage muscle car that does everything, including leave our showroom quickly, so you better call now!
