1967 Chevrolet Camaro

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is the kind of classic that enjoys the image of a V8-powered coupe. But it doesn't come off as a bruiser. When you see the quality of the upholstery or the overdrive transmission, you understand there's just a little bit more care and interest here that makes it extra special.
Nice chrome bumpers and plenty of shine in the paint will always make for an attractive classic. And this one just seems to get the formula right. The marron-like red looks much like the first-gen Camaro's Garnet Red. There's a good clearcoat luster from a modern respray, but it remains a driver-quality finish so that you won't get nervous about joining traffic when you leave the garage. The deeper tones of this red works quite well with the coordinated black accenting, including the painted stripes, chin spoiler, and well-done vinyl roof. So while this Camaro has the unmistakable sporty look with racing stripes, full rear spoiler, and large dual exhaust tips, there's also a nice bit of sophistication in there, too.
The black accents of the exterior get you ready for the full black interior. This is the deluxe version that gives you the better door panels and white-trimmed seats, and they present quite well with more recent investments in the vinyl. The smooth dash, clean carpeting, and taut headliner all add to a nice overall package. There are even provisions for air conditioning (this was converted to R134a, so it may just need a recharge to blow cold again.) Front bucket seats, a center console with floor shift, and a thin/grippy steering wheel make this a driver-oriented coupe.
Under the hood is a year-correct 327 cubic-inch V8. In fact, this is believed to be original to the car. It has some added flair from the bright air grabber and polished Edelbrock valve covers, but overall, there are plenty of places where this looks honest enough that it gives you a chance to talk about its originality. It also has a look of good maintenance, and they way this one fires up readily reaffirms this feeling of good care. The four-barrel carburetor lets the V8 inhale deeper, and the dual exhaust has a particularly nice tone. It's the kind of motor that makes you want to drive your classic more. And the upgraded 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission has the right gearing and overdrive for this to be a favorite all-around driver. There's even power steering and power brakes to make the miles easy.
This Camaro has a good sports car look and a lot of practicality you may not have expected. It makes for a total package classic you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
