1966 Chevrolet Nova
This 1966 Chevy Nova is a one-off custom build.
It’s hard on where to start. but here its go’s.
Here is the history of the car. from what I was told there was 2 owners of the car and has always been in a garage which make since it was rust free. The car was factory gold with white.
We started by stripping down the body of all its parts. Pulling the front dog house and all of it chassis parts the car was stripped down inside and out. fire wall and under the car was media blasted. The body and all its parts were sealed with PPG dp50fl epoxy. We installed a hedits pro G front end and rear 4 link with sub frame connectors. And custom built ford9’ from strange. Install the mini tubs, made the trans tunnel, the body was lined up ever gap checked and then the body was put in PPG Primer. The body was then blocked out with 120 and premiered again, it was then blocked with 320 and then wet sanded with 600. Once the body was ready for paint, we then stripped it back down of all its body parts and chassis parts, the chassis parts were sent out to powder coating and the body was masked off and sealed. We sprayed the body in a custom bronze ppg water base and then we shoot 4 coats of ppg clear. The body and the parts where wet sanded with 800 and then re-cleared with another 4 coats of ppg clear, inside of car, motor bay inner fenders and all flat parts were done in the same color water base then cleared in PPGs flat clear.
The motor, and intake was painted the same color as the car and then flat cleared.
Once the car was painted, we then seam sealed under the car with sem 2-part epoxy and then it was painted with por 15. Once that was done, we then tinted a bed liner and coated the floor to match the car. we started color sanding the ca, we started with 600 and worked up to 5000 and then polished the car, once done there we install all of its chassis parts and started installing all of its parts, hand bending ever brake line and flaring it it to a an 3 nuts for no leaks, we dyna matted front to rear. the trunk, kick panels and center console was all custom built by stereo king, the seats and all of the interior and leather work was all custom done by jims custom upholstery. Car has been dyno tuned and is about 500hp to the rear wheels. Car has about 230 miles of brake in time and tuning. If I wrote down everything in detail I would be writing a book. There is 1000’s of hours in labor and 1000’s in parts so if there is something you want to know just ask. Here is a list of just some of the parts.
