This truck is stunning. I think the paint is gorgeous. It has all the features that make it a pleasure to drive like fuel injection, cold a/c, power steering and brakes. Ready for show and go.
EXTERIOR: The color is absolutely stunning, that's what really attracted me to this truck. Seeing it out in the daylight, looks like red metallic chrome. All metal except the rear fenders and running boards. The body is straight, no rust or damage. The hood was made smooth, any emblems, trim the seam down the middle is all filled in smooth. The metal flake paint is laid out real nice then a clear coat finish was wet sanded like glass. It has a custom tailgate, no rear bumper. It has a custom roll pan with a recessed license plate and custom tail lights. The fuel door has been relocated to the rear fender. All new smoked glass. The rubber gaskets and weatherstrips are all new. In front the grill, bumper and trim is gleaming. The 15 inch Torque Thrust wheels are polished.
INTERIOR: Inside the cab has been completely repainted glossy like the exterior. Overhead it has a new vintage style headliner and visors, custom mirror. Sport style bucket seats are very comfortable. It has a functional center console with plenty of storage and cup holders. New carpet on the floor with matching floor mats. I really like the gauges, they are reproduction of the original but with modern technology. The odometer is digital. Beautiful aluminum banjo steering wheel on a tilt column. It has matching billet levers. There is a digital shift indicator. A retro stereo fits right in the factory hole and there are custom speakers in the speaker grill. There is a custom panel made below the dash for the digital air ride controls and climate controls. It has power windows.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 350 motor was bored 60 over making it a 360. It has Vortec heads, roller rockers, headers and tuned port injection. An aluminum radiator and overflow bottle, electric fan and stainless hoses keep it running cool. A Vintage Air heat and air system keep the passengers comfortable. It is show quality. The engine bay is painted like the outside. The firewall has been made smooth. The motor is full of polished parts including brackets, valve covers, alternator and injection unit. It has a serpentine belt and pulley system modern power steering with the remote reservoir and power brakes.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the bed is straight metal painted glossy like the truck. The floor is refinished oak with stainless strips and hardware. The tailgate has custom latches.
UNDERSIDE: A Camaro subframe was installed in front. The front end was completely rebuilt, it has tubular control arms. It has Air Ride Technologies air ride suspension front and back. In back it uses a triangulated tubular upper and lower control arms. Bottom of the motor is clean, has high torque starter. 700R-4 overdrive automatic trans is great for cruising. In back it has a Ford 9 inch Currie rear end with 3.50 gears. It has disc brakes at all four wheels. Custom fuel
tank. The battery is under the truck and has a built in battery tender. It has a nicely bent exhaust with x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers.
This is a gorgeous truck that is very comfortable to use. It was a 95 degree day in Nashville when I bought this truck and I had ice cold air blowing on me. It looks like it was built yesterday but it does have about 5,700 miles on it. It was meant to be driven!
