1950 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe

This 1950 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe has a cool classic look inside and out. Plus, the motor has been given some period-correct upgrades for a hint of hot rod flair. The result is a cool classic with a great driver personality.

These Chevys really had style. The rounded center of the hood blends with the rounded rear fenders and rounded profile to give this car a graceful look. And the good body panels really show this off. The two-tone Grecian Gray with Falcon Gray roof section are all part of a vintage elegance. There are even fender skirts that come with the sale. Of course, when it comes to sophistication on a 1950s machine, you also need plenty of brightwork. Wraparound bumpers, an intricate grille, sweeping side trim, upgraded wheel covers, and wraparound window trim that provides a clear dividing line for the two-tone. So this is all a very thoughtful package.

The interior is a well done classic-style presentation. The two rows of light gray seats with gray broadcloth inserts is clean and comfy. There are thoughtful details, like the matching door panels and nice gray carpeting with gray piping. The option lists were a lot shorter in 1950, which gives this car an uncluttered appearance of a simpler time. The steering column is uncomplicated with a big grippy wheel and a long stalk to shift the manual transmission. Despite this coupe's simplicity, the gauge cluster is quite informative. It has info for the fuel, water temperature, oil, and voltage that are all surrounding the Art Deco speedometer. Even the AM radio is still working.

Under the hood is a very cool vintage presentation. The 235 cubic-inch inline-six was the larger and more powerful motor option available in 1950, but not in this configuration. So not only does it get the better engine, but also it has been upgraded with Fenton intake that can hold dual Rochester carburetors. And the Fenton headers give this inline motor a true split dual exhaust. This doesn't turn this Chevy into a V8-hunter, but it does add just a touch of classic hot rod flair that makes it nicer on the road and fun to lift the hood when you park. There are even a few well-placed upgrades like an electric fuel pump, modern mufflers, and a newer fuel tank to help make this a strong-running cruiser.

There's a lot to look at and a lot to love in this very vintage '50 Chevy. So at a price like this, you know you want to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
