Description:

1972 Chevrolet Camaro

Chevrolet Camaro . 350 4sp car. Not the original motor. Car is black with white painted stripes (not stickers), paint is approx 5 years old and shows well with normal wear. The chrome is shiny with no rust. One dime sized bubble on the passenger lower door but that's it. This is not a show car so please don't expect it to be. It's a good driver to take to cruise in's or some investment could take it to the next level. The interior, carpet, seats, door panels, headliner are all good. All of the gauges work except the RPM gauge and the gauge itself needs replaced. It needs a trunk lock. The engine compartment needs detailing but it's alright. Power brakes were added with front disks. There's oil on the bottom of the motor, but it doesn't leak any oil. Im guessing the motor has been in it for awhile. It runs good though, no smoke, no knocks, runs smooth and strong. The tires are brand new. For some reason, some great person has put air shocks in the back....hey, who am I to judge? not a fan however. They hold air and do not leak, so jack it on up if you're feeling disco feverish. From what we've researched, we believe this was a base V8, 4sp car and we think the tranny is original (not verified) No air conditioning, except when you role down the windows. (no cracks in any of the glass and it appears to be original) It does have power steering. The car runs great, tracks well down the road and doesnt rattle or make weird noises. For the money this car is really hard to beat. You can spend 30k and get a nicer one, but everything I've seen in this price range has rust issues or needs a 7,000 paint job. This one does not. I've tried to describe it as best I can but if you have questions feel free to ask, unless you're a Camaro Expert and start asking questions like "Does it have the original Munsie Transmission that was produced in the last half of 1971 1/2" I am NOT an expert, I do not have Tons of historical information about this car. No its not a Z28, I can provide you with the VIN and you're welcome to see what you can come up with. Please don't bid on it unless you intend on buying it......yes, there's a pandemic...yes people are getting laid off from their jobs.....yes you know this already, so don't bid if you can't afford it. You're welcome to come look at it and drive it prior to bidding.
