1987 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

This 1987 Chevrolet C10 Silverado has a fuel-injected V8, an overdrive transmission, and a loaded A/C interior. It's a total package that delivers vintage looks and the features you want, and does it all for a terrific price.

This was born a dark blue pickup, and so it's nice to see it retain the color even after a respray later in life. It gives this truck a distinctive look, and the darker hue really lets you see the polish of the bumpers, trim, and upgraded wheels. It's all done well, but nothing here makes you think twice about still using this Silverado for real truck duty. Even the bed has liner paint, so it's ready for the weekend's chores.

The doors line up nice, and have a solid feel when you open them. Once inside, the sea of blue continues. This has a highly stock appearance, which means plenty of nice features on this premium Silverado. It includes power windows, power locks, comfy velour upholstery, and cold-blowing factory air conditioning. There are also nice upgrades that have been well-integrated, like the dash pad cover, blue tint on the windows, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. The dual spoke steering wheel is an upgraded sports unit borrowed from Chevy's cars, and it's on tilt column to give you a clear view of the dash panel with working clock.

What makes the 1987 Chevy truck models so special is that it was the last year for the classic bodylines, but the first year you could get fuel injection. This gives the 305 cubic-inch V8 under the hood a real advantage. There's even an upgraded aluminum radiator with electric fans to help keep this running cool. The V8 starts right up, like a well-respected FI machine should, and you have great anytime driving features, like power steering and power brakes w/discs up front. Plus, this one really encourages the long haul with dual fuel tanks and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive.

Complete with owner's manual, this is a good pickup with all the qualities you want in a useful machine. So if you're looking for a vintage value with handy features, call today!
