Several years ago he found a detail oriented restorer to return this Vette to like new. The bonus was this talented craftsman was very experienced with Corvettes such as this, and had several already under his belt including Bloomington gold wins. This complete nut and bolt restoration ( Corvette factory assembly manuals were used for accuracy)revealed a great starting point for an exhaustive renewal, with compete disassembly and rebuilding, refinishing, or replacement of every fastener,component, and complete mechanical rebuild. Photos are available showing every aspect, from bare fiberglass body to the show quality finish it sports today, as only 110 carefully driven miles have been added since. It has never been shown on the national stage,so the new owner can enjoy the attention and wins this gorgeous Stingray will provide. Original engine to frame matching numbers and all correct components are present.Includes the optional and rare matching hard top.Gold stripe radials were used for the correct look and provide superior handling. The navy blue interior was upgraded to factory style leather. The bucket seats feature the extremely rare headrests that were optional.
