Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as celebrate our 21st year in the classic automobile business crazy enough we are having lots of requests for good driving trucks that have patina well Here is one conversation piece for sure. The truck has lots of patina and some rust holes on the bottom corners of the cab, but under the patina is lots of cool work including a modern fuel injected 5.3 LS VORTEC V8 and electronic overdrive automatic transmission, working air conditioning, power steering and power front disc brakes, modern LED lighting, new wide white wall radial tires and a modern gauge package. The front clip of the body was replaced with a 1958 quad headlight style. . From what we can best guess is a modern Tahoe was used to donate the chassis and drivetrain. The Tahoe front clip has been grafted onto the original frame so it features a modern steering,, independent front suspension, big heavy duty upper and lower control arms and the factory large sway bar. The rear end is a 10 bolt probably front the donor truck as well.This is a cool piece that gets a tons of thumbs up and photos taken. The AC is cold, features a Dakota digital dash that appears to be working fine, leather bucket seats also donated from the late model vehicle. She even has a USB port for charging your device.
