1970 Chevrolet Camaro RS

From a private collection this 1970 Camaro Rally Sport has been body-off restored to perfection. Sold new at City Chevrolet in San Diego, A with a production date of April 3, 970. Owner history dating back to 1990 with documentation of dealer delivery to City Chevrolet. This Camaro remained in California until 1990, A blue plate on the car at the time of purchase included in sale. TRIM TAG identifies Van Nuys, A 04A Build Date; 713 Black Custom Interior and 53 53 Camaro Gold Exterior Paint. No expense spared on the restoration using many NOS parts.Exterior This real Rally Sport split bumper has excellent Camaro Gold paint with the Z28 strip package applied. It sports Z28 spoilers along with the correct vintage Z28 wheels/NOS trim rings/center caps to include Goodyear Polyglas tires. Over $900 spent on restoration of window trim with Restro-Trim. Interior Black Custom Interior Outstanding interior with upgrade of the Z28 dash gauge package. All gauges were restored by ADT at the cost of over $800 which includes speedo/Tach/Amp/Oil/Temp and clock upgraded to quartz. All dash plastic to include dash bezel restored by American Classic Restorations at the cost of $1,400. Original seat belts restored by Ssnake Oyl; Original steering wheel restored by Gary's Steering Wheels; Dash Specialities restored the original custom door panels. AM Radio/speaker have been reconditioned. Seats reconditioned to include new dash pad, eadliner and carpet.Trunk Restored to new condition, 28 spare/Goodyear Polyglas tire, orrect jack assembly.Drivetrain/Undercarriage The original 350 block - cast 010 upgraded to Z28 specs with complete rebuild. The correct cast 1970 dated cylinder heads were found and rebuilt to the correct Z28 specs. Correct restored intake purchased from Camaro Hi Performance, istributor with Z28 specs restored by Camaro Hi Performance, t also has correct valve covers restored by Camaro Hi Performance. The correct date coded water pump from Bill Mock was installed. The correct Z28 exhaust manifolds married to an outstanding Gardner Exhaust concours show package. All components to include wiper motor, adiator, ower steering unit, eater core/blower motor have been reconditioned to top specs. Horn works restored the original horns. All brake/fuel lines replaced with Right Stuff lines. The original 350 automatic transmission was rebuilt with the Z28 torque converter installed. The original differential was upgraded to a posi trak unit with 3.73:1 gears.This is an outstanding running/driving/performing Camaro with over $50k spent in the restoration. Included in the sale is a huge file of receipts, A blue plate and original dealer delivery information to include owner history from 1990.
