1970 Chevrolet Corvette

1970 Corvette Convertible 454 LS5 4speed PW Brakes/Manual steering/No A/C. I have owned this car for 13 years and have been restoring it during this time. I am a auto mechanic 40 yearsexperience. All work was done by my self. Car has been rebuilt front to back. Engine is original to car the serial number stamping is clear & CZU. The Tonawanda numbers are faint T0508CZU 70S410049. When I rebuilt engine I had the block surfaced. The high side of block was on the back so machinist was able to save the numbers. The only original engine internal parts is the crank.I personally had all machine work done to my specs and I assembled the engine. I lowered the compression to 9:25-1 to run on pump gas.Car has aluminumgriffin radiator& High flow water pump. I live in AZ and car has no problems with running hot.The Muncie transmission was not original to car so I built a M20 Muncie with Autogear super case/Steel mid plate/Matched slider synco assemblys/Heavy duty bearings & Bushings. I installed a Hurst competion plus shifter with corvette shift handle.Looks like factory. The shifter is a hugeimprovementover stock. Car has a Mcleodstreet/strip clutch/Heavy duty throw out bearing/New Clutch fork/Pivot ball and linkage rods.Rear differential is a 3.36 and I do not think it is original to car.I rebuilt the differential with carbon fiber clutch packs.Trailing arms completely rebuilt.Brake system rebuilt or new/SS sleeved calipers/SS brake lines/new rubber lines/New master/Rebuilt power booster.There is no frame rot at all.Interior is new or rebuilt.Every thing works on car except 5 port washer pump.I stripped and painted the car about 10 years ago.I have some some touch ups. I would say the paint from 1-10 is a 7. This is not a 10 footer.I built this car to have every thing factory appearing but to be able to drive it.I converted the ignition to pertronix electronic.I did not want to deal with the points.This car is ready to driveanywhere.I do not have a jack/Have a spare tire.I could go on for ever on things that have been done.Please aska lotof questions before you bid.I do not want to misrepresent anything.
