Description:

1959 Chevrolet Impala

1959 Chevrolet Impala- Rare car, these cars are getting hard to find.

Since you are looking at my ad, you know that these are very popular cars and hard to find to build or even to get one

Description I am selling this car for a friend. Will give a brief detail but if you want more into it, I can let you call him, IF you are serious, not just to talk cause its fun. He has a lot of interesting history on this car. The man owned it for years and YES it was in a barn for years, he would get it out every now and then and run it up the road. If you find one of these cars, one of two things, either they are too far gone to restore OR they are so dang high, you can't touch them. Well, this one is neither of those. It IS very restorable and itis not 50k either. Another good thing about these cars that is still good, you can find parts to what you need, BUT this car has a very, very good body. So will give a little more on this. This car has so much potential. Clear Tennessee title.

ENGINE: 348 runs good and sounds good and has a 4 bbl, pushed by a power glide transmission.

  • Has power steering and power brakes

INTERIOR: It has red leather seats, that was done a little while back, but as you can see, still looks good, carpet needs cleaning, but noting has really been done to this car while it sat there, just drove every now and then.

  • It has new weather-stripping in the trunk and has all the trim to the car that isn't on it in the trunk as well.

EXTERIOR: This car is a factory white car and it hasn't ever been taking apart and is unmolested, never restored.

  • Has 10 inch wheels on the rear, so that gives it a great fat look and is being stock, no cutting anything and it has 8 inch on front
  • Doors shut very good and tight

Overall, this is a very good solid car to restore, has some primer on it, where the older gentleman started trying to get it ready for paint, but not a good attempt, so the primer is thin, so you can see how the body really is and most of the car has the original white paint still on it.

  • I actually took the pictures for him, so I was there when he put a battery on it and started it right up and pulled it out from the barn, so it sounded good, stop good and even the brake lights work, as I seen.

This is an 61 year old car,and is being sold AS-IS, NO Warranty (of course). BUT, if you bid that's good, IF you want to come look at it, that's fine to, IF you want an inspector to look at it, that's fine to, but tried to be as up front as possible on this Rare Impala as possible.

IF, you need to have it shipped, I use a guy that is good and that's all he does, OR if you use your shipper, I will be glad to work with them however I can to make it go smooth. I am not the type that once you buy it, I don't care, I REALLY do, I want someone to get this car, restore it and have fun and be happy, cause you don't find these on the roads like, Camaro, nova, chevelles.

If you have any questions, please message me and I will be glad to give you my number or I can call you, but hate when 20 people a day call and then they say, oh well I just wanted to talk about it, not planning on buying. I love old cars, but don't have the time to talk to 20 people a day that has NO intentions on buying. Thank you and thanks for looking/Bidding.
