1966 Chevrolet C-10 --

Ready to win some trophies? This 1966 Chevrolet C10 will do it for you. With a fresh comprehensive restoration featuring a stunning Mosport Green paint job and a luxurious leather interior, it's a subtle resto-mod that skillfully accents all that was great about Chevy's '60s haulers. And with a thumping, fuel-injected 427 V8 under the hood, it's faster and more powerful than anything Chevy was producing in '66, and that's a good thing. You want to get noticed,... don't go with flames and bright colors, do it with skill then paint it a uniform color without any bells and whistles that distract from the finish. That was obviously the mantra behind this build, which combines impressive craftsmanship and time-consuming attention to detail resulting in an exceptional application of the Mosport Green Metallic that adorn this truck today. Fit and finish are exemplary and if this truck ever spent days out in the field or on the job site, all evidence of it has been completely erased by the build. Instead, the sheetmetal is straight enough to use as a mirror, the light green paint makes similar cars in our showroom look dirty, and every corner was honed to a sharp edge that reflects light in a most impressive way. Most of the profile trim was deleted for a smooth, uniform look, although the front grille, both bumpers, door handles, and light bezels remain, and they absolutely glitter against the paint, accenting both the original design and the modified stance. There's also a freshly restored wooden bed (it's also covered in about 13 coats of clear, so it shines up incredibly well and should last as long as the paint job) that warms up the green paint job even further and offers flashy stainless steel rub strips that have yet to see a drop of rain or a piece of cargo. Everywhere you look this truck is just MONEY. They worked the same kind of magic inside, where the tan leather interior was simply restored with a nice mixture of stock and modern components, but in a very exceptional way. Look how well that leather seat cover fits, how smoothly the plush carpet flows around the custom storage console under the dash without a wrinkle, and the pleasing contrast between the custom door panels and their bright stainless hardware. The single-pane instrument panel covers only the basics but does it so well that you won't even notice, and that leather-rimmed, custom steering wheel looks awesome perched on the aftermarket tilt column. Vintage A/C was beautifully integrated into the dash and is a nice addition that makes this truck easy to drive, and the entertainment system is an AM/FM/CD/AUX/Bluetooth stereo with speakers neatly stashed throughout the passenger compartment. A glance up top reveals a custom headliner setup, with a neatly integrated overhead console borrowed from a late-model Nissan. This cab is a very comfortable place to be. The thumping 427 cubic inch V8 big block features a Holley Avenger Fuel Injection system that makes it incredibly responsive and super-reliable, and with approximately 4500 miles on the motor, it has years of street dominance ahead of it. It's dressed for show, with a custom Olds/Caddy style air cleaner that was painted to match the exterior, finned valve covers, a smoothed and painted firewall, and beautifully painted black inner fenders. Service access remains quite good, and while everything is new, it's also smart since the truck really was built to drive. Power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes are worthy upgrades when you're reworking an entire vehicle, and when the truck was restored, the entire chassis was painted. The suspension has been augmented with a lot of new parts, and it's also been lowered a bit to give it that awesome rake. Long-tube headers feed a fresh Flowmaster dual exhaust system with electric cut-outs sounds fantastic behind the fresh big block, and between the 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a shift kit, and the 12-bolt rear with 3.07 gears inside, cruising is effortless. Shiny Foose chrome wheels look right and are wrapped with fat 235/55/17 front and 255/55/17 Pirelli performance radials that have enough sidewall to make this truck look like a truck. There's obviously a ton of money wrapped up in this build, but the effort will pay off handsomely for the next lucky owner. Call today!
