1966 Chevrolet C10 Short Step-Side Pickup SURVIVOR

Description:

1966 Chevrolet C-10 Short Step-Side

This is an amazing "Survivor”. It starts, runs and drives well. The only thing that appears to have been changed is that the seat was re-upholstered at some point years ago.

It has what we believe to be the original straight 6 cylinder with a 4 speed manual transmission (granny 1st).

It has rust in all the usual places. Bottom of front fenders, rockers, cab corners and front of rear fenders. See pics.

The interior looks amazing. The original factory radio has been replaced with a later stereo, but otherwise bone stock.

This pickup was sold new in Idaho and unlike most 1960's Chevy Pickups it does not appear to have been a farm truck. The sheet-metalis in relatively straight and undamaged condition. The original red color is badly oxidized, but some guys polish them up and keep the original patina.

Very reliable. It may have been overhauled, because it runs so well, but the odometer is only showing 55k miles and if it is original, perhaps the engine has never been apart.

Nice shape for a 53 year old.
