HELLO '59 RARE STATION WAGON LOVERS,
RE-LISTING, PLEASE HAVE FUND$ IN ORDER - BEFORE BIDDING!!!
HERE IS A RARE FIND WITH A 1959 CHEVROLET BROOKWOOD STATION WAGON IN THE RARE 2 DOOR MODEL. THIS WAS A BARN FIND FROM THE DRY WESTERN STATES AND HAS BEEN SITTING FOR 35+ YEARS. THE CAR IS MAINLYALL ORIGINAL WITH INTERIOR AND MOSTLY FACTORY ORIGINAL PAINT ALL IN "PATINA" CONDITION WITH TOTAL RESTORATION IN MIND, OR CLEAR COAT IDEAS IN MIND?
THIS MODEL IS HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER AS THE 59 SLEEPER 2 DR NOMAD.
IN '59 THE NOMAD WASONLY OFFERED AS A FOUR DOOR IN 1959 AND THEREAL NOMADS WERE ALWAYS 2 DOORS. TRUE 2 DR NOMADSWENT AWAY IN 1957, WITH THE LAST OF THE TRUE 2 DOOR NOMAD.
THE 1959 2 DR BROOKWOOD WAS THE UTILITY STATION WAGON TRYING TO REACH OUT TO THE WORKING CLASS AND WAS ALSO THE "COST CUT MODEL", FOR CONTRACTORS ETC...AND THIS ONE WAS JUST THAT, A ELECTRICIANS AND PAINTERS CAR WITH THE ITEMS FOUND IN THE CAR AS LEFT.
OVERALL THE CAR IS SUPER DRY AND STRAIGHT,WITH ONLY ONE AREA OF BODY REPAIR NOTED. THE PASSENGER SIDE, ON THEFRONT OF THE REAR 1/4 WAS HIT BY A TREE AND CAUGHT PART OF THE ROOF AREA - THIS AREA WAS MINOR.THE FRONT 1/4 REAR AREA OF THE DOOR JAM AND LOWER ROCKER OBTAINED THE BRUNT OF THE DAMAGE. THIS AREA IS IN THE BROWN PRIMER, AREAS AS SHOWN AND WOULD NEED TO BE RE-ADDRESSED AGAIN TO BE RESTORED CORRECTLY TO SHOW, DUE TO OLD BONDO REPAIRS THERE. THE PASSENGER DOOR IS A REPLACEMENT DOOR FROM A BLUE 2 DR BROOKWOOD. THIS REPAIR / MISHAP AREA WAS ALL DONE WAY BACK MANY MANY YEARS AGO. RECENT TOUCHUP OF BROWN PRIMER ADDED FOR PROTECTION OF BARE METAL SURFACES ONLY.
THE ENTIRE CAR IS SUPER SOLID AND THE REPAIRAS MOST ALWAYS IS THE FLAT REPAIR OF THE FLOORS, AS THE RUBBER MATS ALWAYS CAUSED BAD SURFACE RUST IN LOCALIZED AREAS. THE LOWER PANS IN REAR AND THE FRONT FLAT PANS IN FRONT SHOULD BE REPLACED FOR RESTORATION. ALL THE DOORS, FRONT FENDERS, HEADLIGHT SURROUNDS, REAR TAIL GATE, MAJOR BODY SEAMS, FLOOR BRACES, UPPER WELLS, REAR FENDER LIPS INNER AND OUTER, REAR BODY MOUNTS, PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES,ARE ALL 100% SOLID! VERY IMPORTANT IN STATION WAGONS!
THISCALIFORNIA '59 STATION WAGON IS BEING SOLD WITH "BILL OF SALE" ONLY. THE MATCHING NUMBERS ORIGINAL STAINLESS VIN. TAG AND CHEVROLET TRIM TAG, ARE ORIGINAL AND IN PLACE AS SHOWN. CAR HAS BEEN OFF THE ROAD FOR 35+ YEARS.
A GREATRARE WAGON TO RESTORE, OR KEEP AS A PATINA CAR AND ORRAT ROD! PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS FIRST.
THIS ONE IS ONE OFSOME NICE WAGONS COMING UP, '59 NOMAD AND '58 BUICK 4 DR HARDTOP CABLEARRO WAGONS!
ALL NEW 4 RADIAL TIRES,SIZE: 215 x 70 x 14"s

FRONT WINDSHIELD IS ORIGINAL & GOOD, NO CRACKS!

BACK 1/4 CURVED BACK SIDE GLASSESARE GOOD!

REAR GATE WINDOW AND GLASS CHROME SURROUND TRIM IS MISSING, GATE WINDOW UNIT ROLLS UP AND DOWN EASY WITH CHROME CRANK AND IS VERY NICE, ALL WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN, PASSENGER SIDE REAR IS SPLIT.

TAIL GATE OPENS AND CLOSED EASY!, VERY NICE GATE! THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN FOR USED, A100% NO RUST GATE!

FLAT GLASS ON DOORS ALL NEEDS REPLACED, ALL CRACKED.

SIDE WING WINDOWSARE MILKY NO CRACKS, THE 1/4 SMALL TRIANGLE REAR GLASS ARE BOTH NICE AND IN GOOD SHAPE.

SO YOU WOULD NEED A SIX PAC SIDE GLASS DEAL, AS ARE SEENHERE ON EBAY FOR JUST THE FLAT GLASS, 4 DOORS AND WING WINDOWS FOR A GREAT PRICE.

NO ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION, WAS A SIX ANGER AND A FACTORY 3 SPEED ON THE COLUMN. I DO HAVE MATCHING NUMBER # 348 BLOCK BUT IT IS FROZEN, MAIN BLOCKMIGHT BE GOOD IF YOU CAN GET THE PISTONS OUT? MOST STUCK.

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!
