- You will NOT have to source ANY sheet metal when you paint this car. Good thing because it isn't available.

-This car will save you $12,000 or more at the body shop compared to a typical rust bucket. After you are done you will have a restored car with original sheet metal. Not a cobbled together, patched panel car.

-A full set of side trim is included which as you know is almost impossible to find.

-An extra front bumper is included since the original one needs to be rechromed.

-Seats have been recovered.Carpet is good to go but you may choose to convert it to tan. Needs a dash pad, headliner, rear try and a driver's door panel.None of this matters because you will be converting it to tan anyway.

-327/Turbo 400 car. Has and Edelbrock intake and carb. Carb is running rich but it runs well enough to get it on and off a transport or a trailer.

-Tires are new.

Problems areas:

-A/C compressor missing but that doesn't matter because you will want to update it to the new style compressor. Lines are easily made.

-Block is cracked. It has been repaired and holds water without pressure (leave the cap loose). This isn't a big deal because I have included an extra 1965 327 block.

-Needs brake work but you will want to convert the front to disk anyway. Buy the $550 kit off ebay that includes 2" drop spindles.

-Right front passenger door closes all the way only if you lift up on the handle while closing the door. Your body shop guy will adjust that.

-Left quarter has rust bubbles. Doesn't matter because you will paint it anyway. There is some slight deterioration around the corners of the back glass. Easy fix for your body guy.

-Needs all new weatherstripping.

ALSO INCLUDED:

-5.3 LS with Aluminum Heads 60K miles and a 4L60E overdrive transmission.

- Don't cry about the cracked block. LS swap it like I planned on doing.

- Trans will need rebuild. Engine should be inspected. You can do that when you drop a big cam in it.

-I have not seen a more complete rust-free IMPALA for sale for under $25K. Most are Caprices and have some rust.

- Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I can put the block and transmission in the trunk. Chrome trim will go inside with the bumper. You will need to bring a trailer for the LS engine. If you are picking this up yourself, your car trailer may have enough room at the front to strap the engine down.
