1972 Chevrolet C-10

I am listing this vehicle for a good friend of mine who does not have an Ebay account. Contact me regarding any questions and I will get them answered or get you in touch with him directly. This truck is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowaand I would encourageyou to come see it if possible. I think you will be impressed."Selling my 1972 C-10 step side Resto-Mod. I bought the truck already restored as I'm a bit impatient and wanted to enjoy what it was without the long hours of hard work as well as finding certified people that can even do this kind of project. Truck has a very newly rebuilt documented 454 big block engine with 423 horsepower and 517 foot pounds of torque. I have the receipts and dyno sheet. It has a big aluminum radiator with an electric fan to keep you running cool. Transmission is a automatic 700 R-4 and the rear end is a 12 bolt with 3:73 gears. It has FiTech electronic fuel injection with a digital programmer that also lets you know what the engine is doing. Truck starts like a new model truck. Super dependable. The read out is on a mount within drivers view. Disc brakes up front. Power steering and brakes. It does not have A/C, the heater works well. All new gauge cluster and the odometer shows 1273 miles on it so I'm assuming that is when the restoration took place. The stereo is a classic look Retro Sound that is digital and has a USB input with new speakers. Stereo sounds great too. New 18" Vision chrome wheels look perfect on this truck and the tire choice looks great while still giving the truck a smooth ride. Paint is House of Color Lime Gold Candy. The bed is finished in black diamond plate. The duel exhaust tone this truck has is indescribable. Deep, slow and throaty that just lets you know it has tons of power behind it. This truck is truly a dependable fun truck to actually drive, not just sit at a show. Everyone loves it and most of them comment on something it has or that was done to it that I didn't even know. I bought it to drive and have something unique. I'm selling because I have a couple different motorcycles and have just purchased another vehicle so I'm thinking the truck may sit in the garage a bit to much. I'm not a mechanic however I am mechanical and have had a lot of experience with vehicles. I believe this is a ready to enjoy truck that has almost everything on it new or rebuilt professionally. It has a little (smaller than a dime) chip on the front right fender at the very edge (see picture). I was told the temperature gauge wasn't hooked back up after the engine rebuild and I haven't taken the time to get that done. I just had a service center go over it and all they had to do was adjust the alternator belt and replace the passenger door handle because the button kept sticking. Thank you for looking and if you have any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer them for you."
