If you look closely you will see this. It is a minor change. The front bumper is in primer ready to paint. It is the lower section of a 1955 Mercury bumper which is massive and strong.I had decided to go with a 350 motor and a different transmission. I am 79 years old and am going to sell the truck. If you want the truck to be close to original, I have the 6 cylinder motor, radiator, gas tank, complete seat, 4 speed transmission, drive shaft, original gauges, glove box door, clutch pedal, and heater. These parts can go with the truck. I am also offering a western hauler truck bed with sides built down and a tool box on both sides in front of the wheel wells and a tool box on both sides behind the wheel wells. The bed has one storage compartment in the center of the rear. The fender wells on the bed, have been raised 4" to allow the bed to sit down better when mounted on the truck. The bed is built of steel with quite a bit of aluminum to cut the weight.
I am putting a reserve on the truck. The selling price that you are bidding covers the purchase of the truck and bed. If you do not want the bed, I will deduct $2000.00 from the total price. To explain further, if you purchase the truck for the price shown on the bid sheet, it includes the bed. If you do not want the bed, I will deduct $2000.00 and I will keep the bed and you will be purchasing the truck only. Whatever you bid, if you don't take the bed, I deduct $2000.00.
